Cultivating Empathy

Deepen Your Relationships With Empathy

How much do you know about empathy? Would you like to learn more? Do you feel as though you come off as an overall empathetic person?

Stick with me to find out how to cultivate deeper emotional connections with loved ones by improving skills linked to empathetic behavior.

By the age of two, children begin to display an emotional response that corresponds with another person’s emotional state. This is one of the fundamental behaviors of empathy.

Additionally, empathy does not exist in humans alone. Instances of empathy have been recorded throughout many species, including but not limited to canines, felines, dolphins, primates, rats, and mice!

We all desire others to be empathetic towards us, but how do we express empathy? Like any other skill, empathy needs to be practiced in order to be better. There are a number of techniques you can learn to help you be a more empathetic person. Even if you feel that you already are a pretty empathetic person, there’s always something more to learn.

My goal is to help everyone define and understand empathy, which is why I invite you to attend my next webinar, Cultivating Empathy, on Thursday, November 19th at 11:00 am MST.

During this experience, you will learn the techniques necessary to cultivate and improve your empathic abilities.

A Skill Like No Other

When thinking about empathy, I’m reminded of a famous quote by Roman Emperor, Marcus Aurelius, “Whenever you are about to find fault with someone, ask yourself the following question: What fault of mine most nearly resembles the one I am about to criticize?”

Passing judgment comes too easily while learning to recognize and alter judgment takes work.

Empathy has been identified as one of the essential skills needed to succeed both professionally and in personal relationships. Empathy is useful in society, in relationships, business, and communication.

Empathy is a skill that is often undervalued and underdeveloped. Imagine what a world without empathy would look like. There would be no grounds for understanding others nor others for understanding us. Think about what happens when you feel misunderstood - anger, resentfulness, frustrations, and lashing out all probably come to mind. Empathy is needed for creating harmonious, meaningful relationships.

From Meaning To Practice

During this experience, I hope to teach everyone the meaning of empathy to form deeper relationships with others. I am motivated by my own desire to improve and grow as a person continuously. I have a number of techniques to share with everyone on cultivating their own skills of empathy.

People with strong empathic abilities better understand the needs of others.
People with strong empathic abilities have less trouble dealing with interpersonal conflict.
People with strong empathic abilities more clearly understand various perceptions.
People with strong empathic abilities treat people the way they wish to be treated.
People with strong empathic abilities find it easier to deal with the negativity of others.

Empathy is not sympathy, nor is it compassion. The three emotions are often confused with one another. However, they have very different meanings. Learn what empathy is not in order to understand what empathy really is.

One way you can help is by inviting the people you care about most to join you for Cultivating Empathy.

This is guaranteed to provide you with the tools you need to cultivate the power of empathy!

I Can’t Wait to Share with You on Thursday, November 19th at 11:00 am MST!
